Skinner (1845-1932). Dr. Skinner was born in Baltimore, and was the son of John Jones and Emeline Jones Skinner of Dorchester County, MD. He received an MD degree from the University of Maryland and as a surgeon with the U.S. Army, later won the medal of honor in the Modoc Indian War in January of 1873. He later served for 15 years as the Superintendent of the Columbia Hospital in Washington, D.C. and with the U.S. Army Dispensary during World War I. He died in 1932 and is buried in Arlington National Cemetery. If anyone might have any information on this individual or his family, please contact me. I am also looking for information on his wife, Kathleen Bayly (or Bayley), who died in 1928 and is also buried at Arlington. Any information would be appreciated. Thank you.
