Surnames: Besnoska, Beznoska, Williams Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/SFB.2ACI/4158 Message Board Post: Hi I am searching my family history, I don't know much about my father's side of the family all i knew was that my father (Karl Joseph Besnoska) who was born 8-11-1924 and his father was Charles F. Besnoska (or nickname Karl). Charles was born on Nov. 25, 1879 and died on Oct. 26,1935. His mother (Ella C. Williams)was born in 1885 and died on Dec. 21,1924 three months after giving birth.Her Maiden name was Williams her parents were Johnathan L. Williams born 1852 died 1920. Her mother Mary E. ? was born 1854 and died 1916. My father always told us that his father (Charles ) was from Germany. I have found a draft card from 1917-1918 that he wrote he was Hungarian decent. I was always told that when he came over here he changed the (z) in beznoska to a (s). If you can help me out here, I can't find any relatives of his from that point on, The draft card listed a close relative was Joseph Besnoska of Baltimore, Maryland .
