Unfortunately, I do not know anything else about my George Clark. And I am not at all familiar with Maryland.With such a common name, I don't even know where to look! The only thing I know is he was born around the Baltimore area. I also had a cousin that lived in Baltimore. But I don't know if it was considered city,or county,etc. I was hoping that I could find a map of that time period and it would possibly help narrow it down. So far,no luck. Do you know - is there such a book that would possibly have info such as occupations of people in it? I know George was a sea captain,but I was hoping to find out more..as in his ship, etc.. I just found my obit. on my cousin which states he lived in Lewistown and Baltimore,MD and worked at the Maryland Dry Dock Company,Baltimore.(he died in 1974 in PA) Does this help any?!
