Tucker - I have Tuckers in Bladensburg, Hyattsville and Landover from 1840 - 1910. I have found most census records, and church records but have not been able to find who the father of John Henry b 1819 may be. I have checked wills, inventories, town tax lists, land records, and guardian accounts, funeral home directories and newspapers for PG and Montgomery Counties - not a thing! I have found some Episcopal church records an have traveled to all of the churches in the area checking registers for something about John's parentage - nothing! All of the existing church records simply state that he was "of PG County" and was a farmer and manager. 2. In references to John's wife - Ellen Rebecca b 1825 I have checked all of the above as well. She is referred to as " of PG County" and her last name is always cross-referenced between Cooke and Clarke. Were these 2 names interchangeable? Anyone with wisdom or advice - I am in desperate need of some of both!
