It looks like a great site that allows you to zero in on a locality, see what local records (by location, type and years) are in the LDS Church's International Genealogical Index (IGI), and search only them for a surname. It only includes microfilm batch numbers for North America and the British Isles. Make sure you scroll to the bottom of the first page to get to the links for each country. The search engine works off of the LDS web site, but it filters out all the names from places you are not interested in.
