I've posted all the info I have found on Maryland Gaines's on that list. My grt.grandfather, John Gaines was born in Monroe Co.,TN 1827, his father was Joshua Gaines b:Maryland(married to a Ms. Eaton or Loftiss), - his father John Gaines (married to Dorcas Boring) They are buried in the Dulaney family cemetery in Washington Co.,TN in unmarked graves. Their oldest daughter was married to a Dulaney. William and John are real common names in the Gaines family.
