There is an extensive FORD family in Robert BARNES' Baltimore Co. Families, 1659 - 1759, beginning with Thomas FORD. Descendants included these men named John FORD: John, b. 1695, s/o James. John (1720 - 1784), s/o Thomas of James. John, probably son of Wm., probably married a dau/o Thomas FORD (1717 - 1787). [Isn't that definite?] John FORD, relationship to the above not established, m. 1755, Sarah MURPHY & had sons Benjamin, b. 16 N 1755; Dorcas, b. 3 Mar. 1757; David, b. 1 N 1759; & Rachel, b. 16 Mar. 1762. BARNES' MD Marriages, Queen Anne County, FORD: Daniel, 10 Feb. 1745, Sarah MAUD Isaac, 13 Dec. 1735, Mary POWELL Isaac, 29 Je. 1748, Mary CORKER Thomas, 20 N 1735, Rebecca BURROUGH Wm., 7 F 1743, Winf'd AARON Wm., 29 Oct. 1745, Mary SLAY Wm., 10 Oct. 1749, Eliz. LEET. BRUMBAUGH's MD Records...Town Hundred, QA Co., 1776: FORD, Daniel, Sr. & Jr., Isaac, Sr. Tax List, QA Co., 1783: Daniel, Isaac, Thomas, & Wm. FORD. Online sources say that the Isaac who m. Mary POWELL was son of Wm. & Johanna. I think I would check Queen Anne County first because that's where there were many Isaacs, and there were Johns in many counties. Do the other QA County names fit?
