I will be in Baltimore next week for some visiting with family (which includes some steamed crabs - hooray!) and some genealogical research. I will definitely be spending some time in Annapolis at the MD state archives and I will also spend some time at the main branch of the Pratt library in downtown Baltimore. I am willing to do lookups/copies, but only if you have the specific info for the lookup. For example, if you want a death cert copy from the archives, I will need to know the cert number. If you need an obit from the Sun at Pratt, I will need to know the death date. I am mostly concentrating on my own research, so I'm not planning to spend lots of time doing research for others, just willing to quickly find the microfilm and make the copy for you (saves you $11 over ordering from the Archives - I will ask to be reimbursed the 50¢ copy fee and the 37¢ postage to mail it to you). I may go to the MD Historical Society, the Balt County Gen Society, the Balt County Historical Society, or others, but I'm not sure yet. Feel free to send requests for these, but be aware that I may not go there. Also, I will be visiting Baltimore Cemetery, Loudon Park Cemetery, and Holy Redeemer Cemetery and am willing to take photos of headstones if you know the section and lot number (so I can find it quickly).
