My great grandmother was from that area and had family connections to the Kendall name. Does the name Alice T. Godwin Jewell sound familiar? My ggrandmother was Mary Catherine "Katie" Godwin Satterfield. This would be in the mid 1800's. The Kendall name comes with the Jewell family. Any info you may have would be appreciated.
