I have an ancestor - Jonathan Glossup - who signed indentures papers in London in 1724 to serve "in Maryland (his Majesties Plantations In America)...." Can anyone tell me where these lands would have been in 1724? He was indentured to John Dykes, "Victular." Perhaps someone knows where John Dykes held land in Maryland in the early 1700s?
