Census Index. The index takes the individuals out of family order, so these might not be families. Check the actual census. [ Leah was born in Pennsylvania and Joseph in Maryland, but they're too young to have had a son in 1820. ] HIGLE, Eliza, [33?], Charles, 11; & Samuel, 7. HEIGLE, Samuel, 38; Belinda, 34; Mary, 7; Geo., 6; Wm., 4; & Eliza, 2. The index of the 1790 Census, May Town, Lancaster Co., PA, has Yost HEIGEL, 2 m. 16+ & 3 females.
