In 1930, the Ancestry database does not have the names in order, but there were Leroy, 1920, & Edith, 1918. The actual censuses have more data than the Ancestry database. Social Security Death Index has Leroy STEFFE (15 Je. 1919 -_ Oct. 1973, lr. Jacksonville, Duval, FL). Do you have his obituary? It might indicate siblings and help you to find the married name of Edith so you can find her on SSDI. If you can't search newspapers yourself, you may need to order Leroy's death certificate to get the exact date of his death.
