Ann's name could have been Ann Elizabeth Jacobs. I have them being born either in MD or VA. Benjamin was born abt. 1824 and Ann abt. 1825. They are listed in the 1860 census living in Allegany Co. MD. In the 1850 census I have them living in Washington Co. MD. Their children are listed in the 1860 census as: Mary E. Norris Ann L Norris John W. Norris (My ggrandfather b 1852) Alender Norris Cordelia E. Norris Benjamin could of had a brother named William living in Allegany Co MD during the 1860 census and Washington Co MD in the 1850 census. William was born abt 1822 and was married to someone named Ann too. William and Ann's children were: William H. Norris Joseph E.
