A poster positioned at the hotel's reception desk will tell you where to find the Reunion Gathering Room. Friday evening Get Together - We will have a presentation by Jackie Baker and Julie Thames Howell. Friday night - Dinner at the place of your choice Saturday Morning - Tour of a couple of area cemeteries and other places of interest with a break for lunch. Saturday Night - Group Dinner at The Fire Mountain Restaurant. Sunday Morning - Checkout and disburse for home. Hotel check-out time is 12 noon. REUNION FEE: $15 per person. Your fee, cash or check, will be collected at the Friday evening Get Together. Each Reunion participant is responsible for making their own hotel reservations. Tell the Reservation Desk that you are with the Thames-Tims Family Reunion; we have a group of rooms blocked for us. If you have any special needs - ground floor room, refrigerator for medications, wheel-chair access, etc. - let the Reservation Desk know at the time you make your reservation. The cost of the room is $60.00/night + tax ($66.60 per night total). The hotel will have to drop the "block" on the rooms on September 20th and any room reserved after that may not be near our other rooms, so make your reservations early! The restaurant is right next door to the hotel. (No one seems to know why the addresses are numbered as they are.) Their menu includes sirloin steak, fried shrimp, chicken, 2 hot bars, a salad bar and a dessert bar. They have given us a discount on our dinner cost at about $11 each. We will have our own room at the restaurant. We will be touring the area on Saturday, so make plans ahead of time to bring your own lunch, snacks, drinks, cooler, ice etc. with you when we leave the hotel. We will break for lunch during the afternoon at an area where we can all eat together. Thames-Tims Family 2006 Reunion T-shirts will be available again this year! Everyone loved the t-shirts we had last year, so we're having them again. If you want to buy a t-shirt, let me know your size(s) so that we can order the appropriate number of t-shirts in the sizes we need.
