The Maryland State Law Library is across the street from the Maryland Archives in Annapolis. The last time I was there (about 10 years ago), they had a respectable genealogical collection, plenty of useful microfilm, volumes full of old periodicals such as the Dorchester County Genealogical Magazine, etc. The collection was easy to access. However, if you need a librarian to assist there was none. With the odd hours at the Archives- the Law Library always seemed to be open (Mon, Tues, Sat 12-1, evenings) to fill in the gaps. (If anyone knows if the hours or genealogical collection has changed in the last 10+ years, let us know.) Send a note to the List Administrator, give him the e-mail address you want to add, and ask him to add you to the "Accept List." You will then be able to post from that address without subscribing a second time. > > ============================== > Gain access to over two billion names including the new Immigration > Collection with an Ancestry.com free trial.
