She married my grandfather, Jozef Kawa and had six children with him in the 1880s/1890s before he died. She then remarried (I believe the last name was Sobarnia) and had one more child, Stanislaw. Four of the six Kawa children immigrated to the US and settled in Nebraska, mostly in South Omaha. Thanks in advance for your response. Nancy

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/SFB.2ACI/241.1722.1.1.1.1 Message Board Post: Hi Edie, I don't know where the Wigginton name came from, but it must have been of some significance to that branch of the Ridgway family (who I am also related to). It is interesting to note that Nancy Trunnell and Benjamin Wigginton had a son named Wigginton Ridgfway. Nancy and BW Ridgway moved from Bullitt Co, KY to Sullivan Co, IN and then divorced. He returned to Bullitt Co, KY and married again. Benjamin Wigginton Ridgway (1809-1866) was the son of Joseph Ridfway and Mary Wells. Bullitt Co, KY is just south of Louisville (Jefferson Co) KY. I would suggest trying the Bullitt Co genweb website and searching for Ridgway info. There is a lot of info there. Another thing you could do that is a big help would be to join the Yahoo Groups mailinng list for Bullitt Co. There is a rootsweb list , but hardly anyone belongs to it. The yahoo list is extremely active and people are very helpful. I have gotten a treemendous amount of info there over the years. I hope this helps. Pat

Surnames: Wigginton, Ridgeway, Cook, McBain Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/SFB.2ACI/241.1722.1.1.1 Message Board Post: Hi, I know this is 2006, but in searching message boards for Wigginton your message sounded very interesting to me. I have an old family tree graph that my late Aunt Dorothy had left behind. My mom and Aunt's family came from Kentucky in Louisville. Their name was Wigginton - father is Bryan - but he divorced my grandmother Catherine. On this pencilled chart she has "Ridgeway" (nothing more) connected to a Sally Cook who was their grandmother. There is a line drawn to " George McBain 1895". I have no idea what this means. By any chance do you think you have any possible connection to this?? Thanks so much Edie

She may have been born in the carolinas or virignia, I don't know. There are many John Tanner's. There is a line in Washington Co., GA. I don't think that one is mine, but could be related somehow. He is from Banks County Georgia. He was born November 12, 1911 to Henry Coil and Dora Lee Minish. He left home in 1949 never to be heard from or seen again. We have been told his last known whereabouts could have been Maryland or New Jersey. It is possible he is deceased now as he would be 95 this November (2006). If so, I would love to know of his burial location. I am adding the only photo I have of him. Probably taken in the 1930's or 40's. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You, Audrey
