Of course, that's several years off, but many ages were "shaded" on the censuses. In 1930, there was a Mike STAKICK, b. ca. 1885, of St. Louis Co., MN. Perhaps Stephanie Baker can help you. She posted on RootsWeb Family Trees Mihajlo STAKIC (1849, Drascem Vrhu, Zupa Penco u Zumderku, Jugoslavija - 1939) m. Ana MILJENOVIC, b. 1851. They had in Zumbarac, Croatia: Janko, Marta, Thomas, Ana, Peter, Milajlo, Mara, Tonika, Danl. Robt., Mila, Jela, & Kata. She lists Peter, b. 22 Mar. 1882, & Milajlo, b. 1885, but that's fairly close. Do any of those names match your family? There are eight STAKIC entries on the US Social Security Death Index, which you can access through either FamilySearch or RootsWeb.

William Grimes and his wife Joyce arrived in the Provence of Maryland in 1663, listed as for "service". In 1667 they were listed as "transported" for the credit of Edward Dorsey. William witnessed the will of John Sison 1663 in Anne Arundel County. June the following year two properties on the south side of the Severn River were surveyed for William; "Bruton-Grimes" of fifty acres jointly with John Bruton and "Grimeston" of 100 acres in his name. Eight years later in 1672 two more parcels of land were patented to William. The first of these was "Grimes Addition" and the second was "Friends Choice" patented jointly with Nicholas Shephard. William and Joyce were the parents of three sons; William born 1664, John born 1666 and James born 1668. William's will is dated March 25, 1676. His widow Joyce marries their friend Nicholas Shephard. Any assistance with primary or secondary documentation of this line and it's extension to Joyce's surname and/or William's parents greatly appreciated. Always happy to swap files. Walt

MD (25 Acres) and his birth record at All Saints Parish. As for having the exact copies I don't have them, I didn't know there was going to be a trial, but the records are there and were easily found. I don't mine sharing, but I quit posting my complete records after I started finding them on the net unauthorized, doctored, added too subtracted from. From now on all I will do is answer questions. As for the O in Owen Humphrey it was a way to keep my Owen seperate from all the others but it turned out to be a very good trick so I could see who just copies others research and who does research. Everytime I see Owen O. Humphrey I know it was copied from me!
