I am trying to locate Warwick Cemetery, presumably in Cecil County, but I can't find it either in Cecil County or Delaware. An obituary I have from 1968 mentions it, so I am not halucinating. Does anyone know where it might be, perhaps under a new name? Thanks. -- Thomas M. Sommers -- tms@nj.net -- AB2SB

Their mother house is in Emmitsburg, near the shrine to Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, and there is a small cemetery on the grounds soley for the nuns.

However, St. Joseph's Catholic is a place for you to start as it is associated with Mother Seton House and is a very old church: St Joseph's Catholic Church 47 Depaul St, Emmitsburg, MD 21727 Phone: (301) 447-2326 You should call and ask if they know where nuns who were at the Mother Seton House in the 1980's were most likely to be buried and if it is there ask if they do lookups in their records. Next option would be to call or write the Mother Seton House itself and inquire the same of them.

Good Evening, Is there anybody who knows about immigration records for Maryland between 1752 and 1775. I have a 5th great grandfather Nichols Phillips that was born in 1752. I don't know if he was born here or if he immigrated. I know that he had a Son born in Leesburg Virginia in 1775, John Nicholas Phillips. But he had another Son named Peter that was born in 1768 and we think he was born in Maryland. If anybody has any ideas, I would be most grateful. Thank you, Barbara Ann Phillips bphil1@earthlink.net
