Census say he was born June 27, 1814 in Maryland. Moved to Indiana and married Susannah Bond in 1846 in Wayne County. He was farmer and she was a Quaker. She was from a well know Quaker family from North Carolina. Don't think he was Quaker. Don't have any information on where he came from. I think he had a brother Joshua and maybe Joseph.
I have a friend that who's race is black and trying to research he genealogy but comes up with walls on his grandfather and grandmother. Grandfather name is Nathanial McCreary who died fairly young in 1934 or 1935, in fairfax, baltimore, maryland. His grandmother name is Lucille (Williams) McCreary who died in baltimore in 1972.
