    3. Oh,my! Must be 20 years I've considered Edward Logsdon,Sr as Dugal's son-in-law. 25 years, maybe. But why? Dugal's will is my best guess, where he also names some JOHN BROWN as his son-in-law. I say,John Brown,d 1810 at Hampstead on land adjoining Thomas McQueen's "Fox Thicket. ". John,of Dugal's adjoining neighbor,Georhe and Mary Stevenson Brown. Speaking of Thomas McQueen,of Dugal. It's been mentioned that he died,in Nov,1763,in the Big Cove, from Indian Attack. I'd like to suggest that "if" Thomas died in the Big Cove,of very s Pa near Hancock,Md,and of Indian attack, that "JULY" 1763 fits Pontiac's 1763 Indian attacks better than NOV. But zero proof of his death, then and there. On Sun, 5 Oct 2003 22:50:38 -0400 "J. Grezlik" <jcgrezlik@bright.net> writes: > Hello, I have been watching this information with much interest. 3. I'm not real clear on the females lines so I may well be off base. But from what I know of the will (have copy) there were no daughters mentioned and John Brown may well have been the son of Dugal's wife, Grace. I am familiar with the fact that in that time frame a "son-in-law" did not mean what it does today, a son by marriage. Then, it could be any male that Dugal may have "taken in". this is one of the reasons I am so interested in the females and "proof". ----- Original Message ----- From: "Hermon B Fagley" <hermfagley@juno.com> To: <McQUEEN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, October 06, 2003 8:31 AM Subject: Re: Fw: [McQUEEN] Re: July,1763 Pontiac' War Indian attacks on w Md/mid s Pa. > Oh,my!
