Fagley cedes point. 4:30 am Ir [1] strikes me that even if I proved son-in-law sometimes was son-in-kaw,ans sometimes step-son, I couldn't prove which 'Dugal meant. Then the point that got me back out of bed was if John Brown "was" Grace's son,and legitamate, Brown was not Grace's maiden name. A GIRL NAMED gRACE LIVED WITH US when I was 5-5 years old. Italian and Catholic. I was told George and Mary Stevenson Brown's land adjoined Dugal McQueen's. I was told their land was at Westminster. www.yahoo.com map shows Cranberry,Md a few miles north east. I was told Thomas McQueen's 'Fox Thicket' adjoined John Brown's at Hampstead. In both cases,I was told,by phone,by a local Md genealogist, and can't prove same with maps. My uncle lived in DOVER, Ohio and taught in New Philadelphia,Baltic, amd another nearby towm And took school photographs of classes as a business. On Mon, 6 Oct 2003 21:25:14 -0400 "J. When your Uncle taught in Baltic, he taught McQueen cousins. There is a line of the family that moved down that way and made a very good living farming the hill sides. They owned over 300 acres of land in the Baltic area. I was at a McQueen Reunion there this past summer and a newly found cousin was kind enough to take me for a drive around the area and show me the lands and cemeteries the families are buried in. This was the William III line, of Dugal > William I > William II > ----- Original Message ----- From: "Hermon B Fagley" <hermfagley@juno.com> To: <McQUEEN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, October 07, 2003 4:51 AM Subject: Re: Fw: [McQUEEN] Re: 1720 N of Baltimore, George and Mary Stevenson Brown[e] > Fagley cedes point. 4:30 am > Ir [1] strikes me that even if I proved son-in-law sometimes was > son-in-kaw,ans sometimes > step-son, I couldn't prove which 'Dugal meant. > Then the point that got me back out of bed was if John Brown "was" > Grace's son,and legitamate, > Brown was not Grace's maiden name. > A GIRL NAMED gRACE LIVED WITH US when I was 5-5 years old.
