You do have to be careful and not confuse submitted with photocopied material. The submitted is any information or family groups submitted by anyone and they are not sourced. the photocopied are what the church has actually gone out and copied from courthouses and church records and other legal documents. These are excellent sources. There are tons of works done for the areas and states that give all kinds of information on transports and bonded persons and so forth out there. Many references are on line and good ways to find where to look. your next best bet is the local public library and or genealogy library. They will have books for research from other states. The US is a very good place to research most of the time, but it can take a bit of digging. Good luck.
