Eunice my Lilias (b.1820) and Robert Dundas Macqueen (b.1808) are siblings of Archibald Macqueen and Margaret Wallace who were married in Eaglesham in abt. 1807. This was Archie's second (possibly 3rd) marriage, his wife Betty Whyte having died not long after giving birth to their 3rd child I thnk. I noted somewhere that there is a Wallace link to the Braxfields. I picked that up in these recent few emails and so I am going to have a crack at pursuing that route. It may have been Margaret Wallace's side of the family and I had though it to be Archie's. I can, however, find no Archie's in the Braxfield lines - so for me that doesn't work.
