He was the son of Daniel and Rebecca (last name unknown) MCQUEEN. On 03 October 1860 Bill married Dorothy "Dollie" Louise RICHEY -- b 12 June 1837 in Alabama, d 23 February 1892 Marshall, Harrison County, Texas. Apparently Bill and Dollie were never settled, in that they never owned their own home, so lived among relatives all their married life. When Dollie died, Bill stayed with any one of his 10 children for a month or 2 at the time before moving to the next one. He died at the home of one of his sons, Charles Augusta "Gus" McQUEEN and is buried in an unmarked grave in Lamar County, Texas. A sad ending for a Confederate War veteran (pension # 07480). His children were: 1. Willie Thomas (a female) 2. James Henry 3. Daniel Wesley (twin to James Henry) 4. Josephine "Jo" 5. Robert Russell 6. Harriet Jenovia 7. Charles Augusta "Gus" 8. Laura Elizabeth "Betty" 9. Franklin "Frank" Edward 10. Hannah Alabama "Bama" (my great grandmother) I have more information if anyone is interested. Best regards, Jacquelyn
