I had already got the info from the SS Death Index. That is how I got the information. I didn't want to order the Social Security applications because they wouldn't contain the information that I am looking for. They were my great-grandparents and I was trying to locate my late grandfather's (their son) sister's. He only had five sisters, so with it being so long, they have all gotten married and have different names. I don't even know their first names, that is why it is so hard for me to get any of the information that I am looking for. I have not found them in the Census records. I have looked through all of them. I did locate my grandfathers grave and his obituary because he passed where I live (Sumter, SC), but if I could only find someone who knows any or Tom or Alice's children or live where they passed them I could locate their obituary and it would list the children. My grandfather's obituary only contained his children's names and his mother and f! ather. It just said that he had five sisters and didn't give their names. Thanks for replying and trying to help.
