I don't know of any McDugal being changed to McQueen. However Dugal McQueen was transported to the Americas for a being Jacobite rebel. Better than getting your head chopped off!! Don't shed any tears of the pseudo research done by your cousin, he'll learn at some point, you can take comfort in your valid and provable research.
