Many thanks Valorie , my Great Grandfather Lachlan McQueen married Christina McDonald in Melbourne in 1852 (both were born on Skye ) . What is the Scots registry in Edinburgh ? Much of what I wrote was taken from the Family Search site ( some of course is taken from family records ) .
