    1. Quick surname + Stephen Goble 1840 Bartholomew census
    2. Hermon B Fagley
    3. I studied a minute the McQueen 1840 Flat Run,Bartholomew Co,Ind.Census. Dugal>Thomas> James McQueen, and Richard Elston once lived near the Ohio River,at the mouth of Quick's Run,near Vanceburg,Lewis Co,n e Ky. 1790 era. Just as Dugal >Thomas> Thomas was an Indian captive, and Dugal>Thomas> son was 1782 killed by Indians,so the Quick's had troubles. Quick's had an early block-house on Quick's run that was defeated by Indians, and one,or more Quick's taken captive and kept near Detroit. [Perhaps Stout family also involved. ] Stephen Goble's name caught my eye on the 1st page of 1840 Bartholomew census, but I did not note whether Flat Run or not. Dugal>Thomas>Elizabeth McQueen m Capt-Lt-Rev-JP George Brown. Eldest son,Jousha Brown, named for Dugal>Thomas>Jousha McQueen, was married in 1801 to Alice Lindsey. Of their several New Richmond,Ohio township children,I know only Alice and Elizabeth Brown, who married a Stephen Goble. I have a guess a Robert Brown, married in 1838 to a Molden,, by Timothy Rairden,JP was of Jousha Brown,or his elder sister, Ruth Brown m 1794 Madison Co,Ky,a Robert Brown ________________________________________________________________ The best thing to hit the Internet in years - Juno SpeedBand!
