I've just gotten the official word: "Due to internal system problems at RootsWeb ... all servers (including the mail and list servers) had conniptions for a few hours.... Mail was bouncing from the mailhub, and an amount through that time was bounced as User Unknown." So, if you attempted to post to the list, and got your mail back User Unknown, you will need to resend. If you sent a post, but got nothing back, please wait a couple of days and see if you need to resend. Old mail gets 'queued' until the backlog is cleared, so mail may be sent out of order.
