Hugh McQUEEN - b. c. 1820 probably Ayrshire - a wool merchant Peter McQUEEN b. 1845 again probably Ayrshire. Peter was a master plasterer, possibly worked on Mount Stewart, Rothesay and Cardiff Castle as a tiler/plasterer. He married Esther Sarah POTTER in London 1868. They had 4 daughters: Cordelia Walton -born 1868 London Grace Lillian- born 1874 London Florence Malvenia- born 1872 London Lottie/Katey Laveniana - b. 1877 Rothesay Peter left for America probably late 1870s -1880s. without family.
