Seeking information on descendants of John C. McQueen born DEC 13, 1823 the son of the Rev. Joseph (1794-1841) and Matilda Hager McQueen (1805-1845). He married to Elizabeth Babbs January 15th, 1845 in Bartholomew County, IN. They migrated to Illinois before the Civil War and are buried in MCQUEEN Cemetery in Muddy Creek Twp., in Jasper County.....In the 1860 census they are enumerated there with son Henry Thomas McQueen born 1849. Also living with them is William Brown, widowered husband of John's aunt Deborah McQueen Brown and a divorced husband of his cousin Sarah Stoughton McQueen Brown Aiken Thayer. Also, in the 1880 and 1900 census are enumerated one Joshua B. McQueen. He was born April 1835 the son of George B. b. Feb 1813 and Belinda (1814-1891)(nee McQueen) McQueen. Joshua married Margaret Whisenand FEB 26th, 1856 in Monroe County, IN. Their known children are; Lizzie b. 1863, Gramville born 1867, Nora M. born 1873 and married John LeMovest, Rosalie born 1858 and married Jeremiah Jayne in 1882, Mary, and a son George Everett. Can anyone add any information(census, probate, family tradition) to the above? Would appreciate finding descendants of same....Thanks, Russ
