Lisa, I hope this helps. John McQueen consorted with Mary Hopper(possibly widow of John Hopper). I am not sure if he was married to her or not. John McQueen and Mary had a son Minor and a daughter Dorothy. I am still digging around to prove some of this information so don't take it as "written in stone". It may help you find some clues. The McQueens lived in the Leeds area of Fauquier County near the Culpeper County (now Rappahannock County)line. I will see if I can find anything else in my files.
