Jane, This is strange.My grandfather was a McMurry from Tn. whose mother was a Gilbert and her dad was named John Gilbert but I dont know if it could be the same bunch or not because I cant seem to find anyone who can help me with the family history.I sure wish there was some way I could help you and myself but I dont know where to start really.I feel like it could be the same ones or at least related.
