Can you tell me where in KY Julia Ann's father lived and his name? My gg-grandmother, Isabelle McMurry, named a daughter Julia. Isabelle married Smith James and lived in Barren county, KY from about 1830-1854; she was born about 1808. She likely had brothers (or possibly first cousins) named William H., John Green, and Thomas McMurry. All these McMurrys were born in NC and lived in TN and AL before moving to KY. Smith James and Isabelle McMurry moved to TX, just north of Dallas (Collin county) in 1854 and remained there the rest of their lives.
