Does anyone have any information on the James McMurry, b. about 1720 in Ireland or Scotland, who purchased land in 1756 from Lord Granville in Orange Co., NC? He died after 1788 in NC, perhaps Caswell Co. Was he the father of Samuel, b. 1740 and John, b. 1748? Thanks, Sandra
