I'm looking for the parents of Eliza Jane McMurray born 3 Dec 1829 in PA. Her death record said her father's name was William and he was born in Scotland. Her mother was supposed to have been born in PA. She married Albert R. Patterson, date unknown. Her first child was listed on the 1850 census as John Q. Adams, born 1848 in PA. On subsequent census he was John Q. Patterson. I don't know if Adams was his last name by a previous marriage for Eliza or if Adams was part of his full name with him being the son of Albert Patterson. As I have not been able to locate a marriage record for Albert and Eliza and all other attempts to discover who her parents were have been met with a brick wall, I'm hoping someone might have her listed in their family genealogy.
