Wilma, I just realized I had a second note from you. Polly Mcmurry (Sometimes referred to as Mary ), was born in Tenn about 1784. Died in Madison county Ark sometime after 1860. Is buried in Clifty cemetery, Madison Ark. She was married to Josiah Means. It is the generation Before this that I am interested in. I am trying to find my American Indian roots and I think it comes thru The Means'. I thought perhaps it may have been thru the mcmurrys, but it looks like they came from Ireland, so I am going to run that out as well. I'm new to this, and i am going to track down everything I can.
