25 September 2001 I have, for a long time, shown my Gillie McMURRY (1866-1914) as the d/o a Frank McMURRY (born ca 1840 in Robertson County,TN). Today I received, from a fellow researcher, the information on 'a' Gillie McMURRY who was living in Decatur, Rhea County,TN, with her parents, in 1880 and was 14 years old. This Gillie's father was not Frank McMURRY, but was T.W. McMURRY (age 49 years). According to a family book entitled, "The Battle BOOK", my Gillie's mother was Annette or Amanda PITT who was the w/o Frank McMURRY. I am now left wondering, until I can find more information.
