This is all very interesting. I think that I may be ignoring much of the information here because I do not see the connection yet. My Samuel was born in Sullivan CO TN in 1786 to Samuel and Elizabeth McMurray as shown on his death certificate in Scott Co VA Nov 6, 1856. He married Emeline Jane Ramey about 1808 in Scott Co Va and had 10 children that I know of. We decended through John. The family remained in Scott Co. All the McMurrays in Scott Co decended from this Samuel. Where he his parents came from and any sibblings is still a mystery. Any assistance would make my day. Thanks again, Lisa Stephenson
