I also have the same problem I can't seem to find any farther then my grt grt grandfather....I know he was born in Ky Feb. 8, 1821 and Died Jan. 23, 1899...He was married 3 times 1st to an Elizabeth Frost and had at least 3 children John, James and Sarah who married W.D. Wildman...Then he married my grtgrt grandmother Sarah Jane Lester and had 3 or 4 as I am not for sure if Peter H McMurry is from Sarah or Elizabeth....There was also Benjmin McMurry who married a Mary Ann Hendricks and Minerva Jane McMurry who married a Lafe McMurry..Then my grt grandad Robert Lester McMurry who married Delia Belle Doss....Jobe later married Josphine McMahan whose daughter Celestia married Peter H,,,,They were married before Jobe and Josphine....He moved from Ky, to Nebraska to Washington...I can place him in these states....His obit says he was born in Kentucky,moved to Indiana, Nebraska and Kansas and Washington...Any help would be wonderful....I cant seem to connect to the McMurry's in Kentucky...
