Does anyone have any McMurry connections in MO? I have a William H. McMurry in Iron or Reynolds Co. Mo. m. Parmelia Warneke (unsure of spelling.) Children, Wm. Jr., Martha, Robert, John, and, ggma,Sophia Ellen b 1870, m W.R. Parmer 1887. William was possibly born in Ire. and may have married in NY. He served in the Civil War. I am waiting for pension records information. After the war Wm. worked as a cooper in St. Louis, he and his wife separated. He died in Kansas City, Mo about 1886. Permelia kept their farm lived there and died in the late 1890's. Anyone out there from Mo. who has heard of this Mcmurry branch? Thanks, Donna McKee mckeebnd@rockisland.com
