It was snowing that April 15, when he traveled out to our farm for the delivery. I know he was around for a few years after that. I have never heard a first name for him, either. It was always Doctor McMurray or Doc. I know that somewhere there is a photo of him in a buggy, pulled by a horse, because I have seen it. It might be in the Paris Public library. I am not aware of a hospital as such, and suspect that it was his residence and simply served as a hospital for short term care, when needed.

This is what his name is listed under for the 1930 Census.(I can not find them listed before or after this time-I believe because of the name transcribed) I would appreciate a lookup in the 1930 phone book for this area to see what the actual name of the Dr./Phycian was. My mother was born in Paris, Mo and I think this is a relative from her father's/mother's side--Black/McMurray. Her father's/father side was Kincannon/Graves which I also show in that area. > Thank you for your time ---it is appreciated.

    1. [McMurry] Graves Without Flowers
    2. ~~ Leslie ~~
    3. Good Morning All, When I put flowers out for my family and friends at Memorial Day, or any other time, I take extra flowers with me. These I put on the graves that I am pretty sure never get any flowers. I suggest this for each of us now since this is the weekend when the government has us celebrate Memorial Day. (Actual Memorial Day is Friday, the 30th.) Since I will not be at any cemeteries except the local ones this year, I will take extra flowers to with me to decorate... especially the older, long-forgotten ones, whose living family might not even know where to find.
