I queried about my Farren family and it came back that my family is believed to have lived in the Cracknagh village area of Clonca. Clustered together in this small area in 1857 were two families of McLoughlins. One was John McLoughlin and the other was Philip. The wife of my Farren ancestor was a Mary McLaughlin. I am interested if anyone has McLoughlin relatives from this location. If so did they come to the US? I have been informed by my researcher in Ireland that the records for the Clonca parish at the time of my ancestors births/baptisms have mostly been destroyed. My Farren family arrived in the US abt 1849. The children ranged in ages from about 12 - 16. They traveled to the US leaving their parents in Ireland.
