They married 3 Aug 1848 in St. Joachim Church in Philadelphia. There is the possibility that Jane immigrated with her mother and siblings (likely to meet their father in Pennsylvania) sometime when Jane was a child. I am pretty sure Jane has a brother named Thomas. James McLoughlin's immigration is unknown, although it obviously had to be before his marriage date. I am trying to find where in Ireland they came from. They had eight children: Andrew James, John, Mary, Elizabeth, James, Edward, Jane Agatha (my ggm) and Thomas.
