I am researching Waterman H. McIntyre b.1801?,NY He married Polly Holdridge in Wells Twp. a.!820. They had 11Children. 3 were born in Wells Hiram H.b 22Feb 1822,William S. b.8 Oct 1823 Waterman H.Jr.b.1824. They remained in Wells until !829 (tax books) He resided on the same farm with his father in law Daniel Holdredge (also indicated by the tax books) He and the family removed to Jackson Twp.,Tioga Co.,PA. They had six more Children John H.b1830,Daniel H.22 Jul 1834(my line),Alva S.1833,Polly Malvania b.1838,Caroline B.7 Jul 1842, Owen & David (both died as infants). Waterman H.Sr,Polly(wife),Hiram H.,John H.,William S. ) all buried Jobs Corners Cem. Jackson Twp.PA I can verify all of the above i.e. deeds,wills, patents,census,gravestones, marriage cert. and obits. etc.. I have hit a brick wall, as to where, Waterman H. Sr came from and who his parents were. I don't know where to look next. I want to thank Joyce for her wonderful site, with out which, I would never have gotten as far as I have.
