DIGEST MODE: As this list is growing so quickly at the moment some of you may get irritated with all the mail. To slow down the traffic you may like to receive the posts in the form of a digest. Instead of coming in real time one by one you will receive only one post at a time, with all the posts for the day. To do this. 1. How to unsubscribe. Send a message to MCINTYRE-L-request@rootsweb.com that contains (in the body of the message) the command unsubscribe and no additional text. 2. How to subscribe. just send the command "subscribe" to MCINTYRE-D-request@rootsweb.com. 3. If you'd like to post a message so everyone on the mailing list receives it, just send it to MCINTYRE-L@rootsweb.com. It will then be sent on to everyone in both mail and digest mode. You don't need to send it explicitly to both. LASTLY: Please try and make each post pertinent to McIntyre genealogy. General genealogy posts should be made to 'general genealogy' groups. You'd be surprised at how often 2 or 3 people 'unsubscribe' after a non McIntyre topic is posted. To get around this just tack on to your message a McIntyre family research related topic to your general post. Camouflage your general posts with 'McIntyre' genealogy.......
