To those of you who have taken the time to write to make corrections on the posting "only 1 you =" Thank you for the information. But just to explain - I took the posting to be a bit of lighthearted fun, certainly not any form of scientific evidence of a goal for genealogists to reach for. Many people have written mentioning adding the equations for first cousin marriages, incest and as a joke - alien abductions & impregnations (that one I enjoyed!), just to name a few. I did not create the chart - nor did I verify the information since I considered it on the level of "cute" and am amazed that so many people are taking the time to "dispute" it on so many levels. I would like to think that most people realize that much of the information available on the internet is inaccurate and should be verified. But I personally would limit that research time to family information - not a chart which obviously was constructed for "fun" and cannot by any stretch of the imagination be 100% accurate. I have been sharing sites that I found from other sources that I thought would prove useful or at least entertaining with the lists that I belong to, but I think that after all the turmoil that this posting has caused - I will discontinue the practice. The time that you are taking to re-calculate the information could be better spent working on "real" genealogy. Good luck in your research, Susan McIntyre
