To All: I am descended from Joseph McIntyre who lived in western NC between 1800 and 1900.. He was married to a Wisenhunt and is said to have died enroute from NC to Washington co., Va. by covered wagon.. His wife buried him and continued the journey.. He may have lived in Yancey, Mitchell or Avery County, NC.. Lydia Charlotte McIntyre d/o Joseph married Hugh Herrall in NC and they moved to Washington co., Va. abt. 1858..
