Elizabeth McIntosh BLOOMVILLE — J. Elizabeth "Betty" McIntosh, 81, died Monday, Dec. 14, 1998, at O'Connor Hospital, Delhi. She was born March 27, 1917, in Oneonta, the daughter of Charles and Mary Seiple Scutt. She married the late Harry W. McIntosh. He died March 23, 1996. She was a housewife and a lifelong resident. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Bloomville Fire Department. She attended Bloomville United Methodist Church. She is survived by a son, William, and his wife, Joyce, of Bloomville; four daughters, JoAnne Bower and her husband, Daniel, Joyce Rockefeller and her husband, Harry, and Janis Beken, all of Bloomville, and Jane McIntosh-Martin and her husband, Steve, of Davenport; a daughter-in-law, Beverly McIntosh of South Kortright; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a sister, Kate Coager of Bloomville; cousin, John Lucas of Wilkes-Barre, Pa.; nephew, Terry Lee Scutt of Indiana; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. McIntosh was predeceased by a son, Robert, two grandchildren, Robert (Dubba) and Rebecca, and a brother, Jack Scutt. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, Dec. 17, 1998, at 2 p.m. at the Bloomville United Methodist Church, with Pastor Clinton Lunt, officiating. Burial will be at the Riverside Cemetery, Bloomville. Calling hours will take place Wednesday, Dec. 16, 1998, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the MacArthur Funeral Home, Hobart. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Bloomville Emergency Squad. Funeral arrangements are by the MacArthur Funeral Home, Hobart. ========== DISCLAIMERS: Not related, no further details.
