I have no idea of any photos etc, but typical that he hs promised them and nothing else. I found a marriage last night of Donald McIntosh to Caroline Louisa Soames in the Sept Qtr 1878 St Olave, which is in the London area. There doesn't seem to be a birth for Caroline that I can find so I guess it is possible that she was married before. Only a marriage certificate would probably clear that up a bit I guess. I tried to find a birth for Donald Snr but there were too many to chose from. I only wish I had a subscription to Ancestry. The only census I can access is the 1881 but It appears that they are not on this so I figure they are already in India by then. Donald Frederick is on the 1891 and 1901 Census for England.
